With Halloween right around the corner, the holiday spirit is setting in and it’s bringing with it all things pumpkin. You might as well start harvesting those ripe pumpkins and get started with delicious October-themed recipes just like Jennifer Garner.
The American actress and producer often shares cooking tips and hacks with her audience and this time, she's urging her fans to take on the mission to recreate her special pumpkin cookies.
Garner's Path to Greatness
Jennifer Garner is a household name that has been running in the entertainment industry since 1995. Born in Houston, Texas, Garner started her acting career when she made a guest appearance in the movie "Zoya" but you may recognize her from her role as Sydney Bristow in the TV series titled "Alias."
Since then, the actress has been unstoppable and with iconic parts in many projects like "13 Going on 30," "Ghost of Girlfriends Past," "Valentine’s Day," and "Peppermint."
Instagram Post for All the Right Reasons
Despite being one of the most loved Hollywood stars, Jennifer Garner is just as down-to-earth and transparent when it comes to interacting with her fans. The "Peppermint" actress took to Instagram to share an exclusive video of her uncovering her once-upon-a-farm’s-pumpkin-oatmeal-cookie.
In the video, she refers to herself as Farmer Jen and seems to be in a field at Locust Grove in Oklahoma. Garner also happens to be surrounded by pumpkins and is wearing casual striped overalls and boots.
Jennifer went on to disclose the recipe with a mouthwatering caption that talks about the flavors of the cookies. From cinnamon to creamy pumpkin, all the flavors come from natural ingredients and she states that the recipe is completely sugar-free. However, what really touched the hearts was the fact that Garner also advocated for Save the Children as she announced the donation to the organization.
Reese Witherspoon is Feeling Inspired
While there were a huge number of fans congratulating and celebrating Garner’s post, fellow celebrity Reese Witherspoon also chimed in and stated that she was extremely proud and felt inspired by Garner’s selfless action to donate to Save the Children.
With that, we'll be taking our leave. It's time to bake some pumpkin oatmeal cookies!
