Mentioning Nick Cannon was a bit odd for the timeline because it was around 2003 that Nick Cannon was in a relationship with Christina Milian and it suggests that if any affair had happened between them, it was before his relationship with Kim Kardashian.

Also, around that time in 2004 was when Kanye West was joined by Christina Milian on tour, so it’s possible that the fling could have happened at that time.
